Are all adhesion slides created equal? We’re all familiar with adhesion slides, also referred to as enhanced, coated, plus, or charged slides. No matter the name, they all have one thing in common—a special adhesion that helps tissue sections cling on, even through harsh IHC processing. But here’s the big question: are all adhesion slides created equal? With every brand claiming a top-secret, high-quality coating, can you just grab any slide off the shelf? Is there a difference, or just lab preference?
