TruCut Disposable microtome blades demonstrate increased sharpness, and greater durability compared to many conventional microtome blades. Made in Japan with a proprietary surface ionization process, the blade edge is slowly refined, sharpened and optimized in order to maximize hardness, sharpness and durability. Available in high profile and low profile.

No refrigeration needed, but ideally will be a controlled temperature space to prevent extreme heat.
