Description
Stains for Donovan bodies, fungi, Helicobacter pylori, Legionella pneumophila, and spirochetes in 45 minutes. This kit includes a 45 minute microwave procedure and the traditional one hour procedure. This kit is suitable in lieu of and comparable to the Traditional Steiner and Dieterle's stain. The MasterTech Steiner Stain Kit differs from similar kits by eliminating radioactive Uranyl Nitrate, providing pre-measured Hydroquinone capsules, and modifying the original technique, which creates a safer, easier to use procedure that provides optimal staining results and reduced background staining. Silver Nitrate, developed by the Hydroquinone based reducing solution serves as the primary stain, producing dark brown to black donovan bodies, fungi, Helicobacter pylori, legionella pneumophila, and spirochetes, against a yellow to brown background.

100ml Kit Consists of: 10% Zinc Formalin 100ml, 1% Silver Nitrate 5ml, 0.1% Silver Nitrate 100ml, Hydroquinone Capsules 5 each, Oxidizer Solution 100ml and 2.5% Gum Mastic 125ml.
Pint Kit Consists of: 10% Zinc Formalin Pint, 1% Silver Nitrate 30ml, 0.1% Silver Nitrate Pint, Hydroquinone Capsules 25 each, Oxidizer Solution Pint and 2.5% Gum Mastic 2 pints.
Liter Kit Consists of: 10% Zinc Formalin Liter, 1% Silver Nitrate 100ml, 0.1% Silver Nitrate Liter, Hydroquinone Capsules 50 each, Oxidizer Solution Liter and 2.5% Gum Mastic 2 Liters.
