Description
The StatLab Slimline Mini Hotplate has a very small footprint, making it ideal for use at the microtome. It is primarily used to remove stubborn wrinkles from tissue sections, and re-orientating embedded tissue. It may also be used in microbiology for heat fixing bacterial smears. The hotplate features a matte black heated surface to provide a visual contrast for tissue sections, and reaches a max temperature of 167F (75ºC). The body of the Mini Hotplate is coated with an antimicrobial finish which inhibits growth of bacteria and viruses.
