Description
AquaSlip™ is an aqueous mounting medium which prevents stained tissue chromogens from fading, while allowing permanent storage of stained slides. With its high refractive index, AquaSlip™ doesn’t require coverslipping and is compatible with chromogens such as AEC, DAB, Fast Red, BCIP/NBT, and BCIP/INT. AEC and Fast Red are the most commonly used chromogens for peroxidase and alkaline phosphatase based immunostaining systems. However, slides stained with these chromogens cannot be stored permanently thanks to the lack of an aqueous permanent mounting medium with high refractive index. AquaSlip has been designed to end these limitations.
