Slide Dryer, High Capacity

The StatLab High Capacity Slide Dryer is designed to provide maximum drying capacity for high volume laboratories. Air at a digitally controlled temperature is blown through the base of the instrument for rapid and efficient slide drying without the risk of overheating the specimen. Through this process, drying times can be reduced by approximately 75% when compared to conventional ovens. Designed with space for up to 13 slide racks (when used without the timer rack system) at 30 slide capacity each for a total capacity of 390 slides. Innovative resistance hinges on the lid allows users to easily position it at an angle, allowing both hands to be used when placing or removing items from the dryer. The instrument is designed with a small footprint so it can be located in close proximity to the microtome. Optional timers and an accompanying rack can be purchased for use on the top of the dryer that allow for timing and monitoring of up to 8 individual racks. Timers (SI-SDR-TMR1 and SI-SDR-TMR2) and rack (SI-SDR-HLDR) sold separately.
