PolarStat Plus™ frozen section embedding medium is a proprietary formulation of water soluble glycols and resins, providing an optimal specimen matrix for Mohs cryostat sectioning, and bonding the specimen securely to the specimen chuck. This formulation freezes at optimum cutting temperatures of -10°C and below. No residue is left on slides during the staining procedure, thereby eliminating undesirable background staining. 12 squeeze bottles/case. Sold by the case.

No refrigeration needed, but ideally will be a controlled temperature space to prevent extreme heat.
