Description
Stains all connective tissue elements, mucins, and nuclei in just over one hour. This stain has three primary stains, Verhoeff's Elastic Stain, Alcian Blue, and Crocein Scarlet which produce purple to black elastic fibers and nuclei, blue to green mucins, red muscle, and red fibrinoid against a yellow background with collagen, yellow collagen counterstained by Alcoholic Saffron Solution.

100ml Kit Consists of: 10% Alcoholic Hematoxylin 100ml, Universal Iodine Solution 100ml, 5% Sodium Thiosulfate 100ml, 1% Alcian Blue Solution 100ml, 1% Acetic Acid 200ml, Alcoholic Saffron Solution 100ml, 10% Ferric Chloride 100ml, 3% Acetic Acid 100ml, 2% Ferric Chloride 100ml, Crocein Scarlet-Acid Fuchsin 100ml and Phosphotungstic Acid 200ml.
Pint Kit Consists of: 10% Alcoholic Hematoxylin pint, Universal Iodine Solution pint, 5% Sodium Thiosulfate pint, 1% Alcian Blue pint, 1% Acetic Acid liter, Alcoholic Saffron Solution pint, 10% Ferric Chloride pint, 2% Ferric Chloride pint, 3% Acetic Acid pint, Crocein Scarlet-Acid Fuchsin pint, 5% Phosphotungstic Acid liter.
All kit components are available for purchase individually. Both kits are sealed with a tamper-evident label for quality assurance. All kit components should be stored in a dry environment between 15⼠C and 30⼠C. Please review all component labels to ensure correct storage temperature.
