Description
Stains for muscle, collagen, cytoplasm, and erythrocytes in 2 hours and 30 minutes. Trichrome stains are commonly used to identify increases in collagenous tissue to assist in the diagnosis of diseases such as liver cirrhosis. Goldner’s Trichrome Ponceau-Fuchsin and Goldner’s Trichrome Light Green serve as the primary stains, producing red to fuchsia muscle and cytoplasm, orange to red erythrocytes, green collagen, and blue to black nuclei. Liter Stain Kit yields 153-297 slides. Slide Yields assume maximum slides stained per run, maximum runs per use.
