Stains for gram positive and gram negative bacteria in just 10 minutes. The MasterTech Brown and Brenn Stain Kit is less hazardous than similar kits due to a specially formulated Advanced Picric Acid/Acetone. Safranin O and Hucker's Gentian Violet both serve as primary stains, producing blue stained gram positive bacteria, along with red gram negative bacteria and nuclei, while the Advanced Picric Acid/Acetone provides a yellow counterstain.
- 100ml Stain Kit yields between 36 and 45 slides.
- Pint Stain Kit yields between 144-225 slides.

100ml Kit Consists of: Gentian Violet 100ml, 1% Safranin O 100ml, Universal Iodine Solution‚ 100ml, ADVANCED Picric Acid/Acetone 100ml and Gram's Decolorizer 100ml.
Pint Kit Consists of: Gentian Violet pint, 1% Safranin O pint, Universal Iodine Solution pint, ADVANCED Picric Acid/Acetone pint and Gram's Decolorizer pint.
All kit components are available for purchase individually. Both kits are sealed with a tamper-evident label for quality assurance. All kit components should be stored in a dry environment between 15ƒš‚º C and 30ƒš‚º C. Please review all component labels to ensure correct storage temperature.
