Description
Stains acid mucins (mucosubstances) blue in 40 minutes. This kit contains a specially formulated Nuclear Fast Red that reduces flocculation, not found in similar stain kits on the market. This greatly reduces staining artifacts and debris. Alcian Blue serves as the primary stain, producing vibrant blue stained mucins with the pink to red nuclei counterstained by Nuclear Fast Red. There is no filtration required when using MasterTech Nuclear Fast Red.
- 100ml Stain Kit yields between 80 and 100 slides.
- Pint Stain Kit yields between 320-500 slides.

100ml Kit Consists of: Alcian Blue pH 2.5 100ml, 3% Acetic Acid Pint and Nuclear Fast Red Stain 100ml.
Pint Kit Consists of: Alcian Blue pH 2.5 pint, 3% Acetic Acid two pints, and Nuclear Fast Red Stain pint.
Liter Kit Consists of: Alcian Blue pH 2.5 liter, 3% Acetic Acid two liters, and Nuclear Fast Red Stain liter.
All kit components are available for purchase individually. Both kits are sealed with a tamper-evident label for quality assurance. All kit components should be stored in a dry environment between 15ƒš‚º C and 30ƒš‚º C.
