Description
Stains acid mucins, neutral mucins, and glycogen in 60 minutes. This kit contains a specially optimized Schiff's solution which eliminates the Sulfurous rinse step, commonly found in similar stain kits on the market. This reduces staining time and exposure to sulfite fumes. Alcian Blue and Schiff's serve as the primary stains, producing blue to purple stained acid mucins and pink to red neutral mucins or glycogen with blue nuclei counterstained by Hematoxylin.

100ml Kit Consists of: 0.5% Periodic Acid Pint, Alcian Blue pH 2.5 100ml, Optimized Schiff's Solution Pint and Modified Mayer's Hematoxylin 100ml.
Pint Kit Consists of: 0.5% Periodic Acid 2 Pints, Alcian Blue pH 2.5 Pint, Optimized Schiff's Solution 2 Pints and Modified Mayer's Hematoxylin Pint.
Liter Kit Consists of: 0.5% Periodic Acid 2 liters, Alcian Blue pH 2.5 liter, Optimized Schiff's Solution 2 liters and Modified Mayer's Hematoxylin liter.
