Mouse Monoclonal. Intended for in vitro diagnostic (IVD) use. This high molecular weight antibody can recognize all basic keratins, and so is a broadly reactive antibody that stains most epithelia and their neoplasms. Members of the acidic and basic subfamilies are found together in pairs, and since each epithelium contains at least one acidic and one basic keratin, this antibody can be used to observe the distribution of keratin-containing cells in normal epithelia and neoplasms derived from these epithelia.
